President and Founder.
Frédéric Garcia founded and chairs FARO. An executive and strategic advisor, active at the intersection of industry, energy and power dynamics, he designed the architecture and structuring principles of the centre. He has served as CEO of Airbus México, President of the Consejo de Empresas Globales and industrial advisor to the Presidency of Mexico.

The Strategic Advisory Board stress-tests FARO's analyses before publication. It challenges their robustness, questions their angles and guarantees their value for decision-making. It brings together personalities recognised for their decision-making experience and their reading of complex environments.
Philippe Faure
Ambassador of France (ret.)
A career diplomat, Philippe Faure was elevated to the dignity of Ambassador of France in 2012. He served as Ambassador of France to Mexico (2000–2004), Morocco (2004–2006), Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2006–2008) and Ambassador to Japan (2008–2011). In that capacity, he sat on the boards of EDF, CEA and Areva. He was subsequently appointed Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Mexico and co-chair of the Franco-Mexican Strategic Council. Founding President of LaListe.com, the global ranking of the world's 1,000 best restaurants and hotels, launched in 2015.
Carlos de Icaza
Ambassador Emeritus of Mexico
A career diplomat and independent consultant, Carlos de Icaza was elevated to the distinction of Ambassador Emeritus in 2015, in recognition of his services to Mexico. He served as Ambassador of Mexico to France (2007–2012), the United States (2004–2007), Japan (2001–2004), Belgium (1996–1998), Argentina (1995–1996) and Ecuador (1986–1988), as well as Permanent Representative to UNESCO (2010–2012). He served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs under two different governments (2013–2018 and 1998–2000). A key figure in Franco-Mexican cooperation.
Gabriela Ramos
Economist and senior international official
Gabriela Ramos is a Mexican economist, diplomat and senior international official. From 2020 to December 2025, she served as Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO, overseeing the adoption by 194 countries of the Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. Previously, she served as Chief of Staff and Sherpa for the G20, G7 and APEC at the OECD, contributing to international tax reform, the Paris Agreement on climate change and the development of a global AI framework. She currently co-chairs the Task Force on Social and Inequalities Financial Disclosure.
Sergio Alcocer
Engineer, researcher, strategist — Founder of México Exponencial
Sergio Alcocer is a civil engineer, researcher and former Director of the Engineering Institute at UNAM, where he also served as Secretary General. From January 2013 to July 2015, he served as Undersecretary for North America at the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, leading negotiations with the United States and Canada and integrating scientific, educational and innovation dimensions into the trilateral agenda. He is Founder and President of México Exponencial, former President of the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales (COMEXI), board member of the Mexico-United States Foundation for Science, and Nonresident Fellow at the Center for the United States and Mexico at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy.
Leonardo Curzio
Political scientist, academic, strategic affairs analyst
Leonardo Curzio is a Mexican political analyst, academic and journalist. He is a researcher at the Center for Research on North America (CISAN) at UNAM and a member of the National System of Researchers. He holds a degree and master's in political sociology from the University of Provence and a doctorate in history from the University of Valencia (Spain). Author of more than ten books and co-author of over forty, he is a member of the Academic Council of the Mexican Institute for Strategic Studies on National Security and Defense (IMEESDN) and has taught at the National Defense College and the Naval Higher Studies Center.
Nadja Seneca Giuffrida

Dr. Nadja Seneca Giuffrida is an international strategist at the intersection of artificial intelligence, neuroscience and human evolution. Holding doctoral concentrations from MIT and Harvard in AI applications for business, neuroscience and agentic AI, she has led a consulting firm specializing in robotics, biometrics, predictive analytics and data science for two decades. She is the author of two landmark works — El Algoritmo de la Conciencia and La Última Habilidad Humana — and the architect of an original systemic framework integrating technology, cognitive science, business strategy and human development into a unified model of applied consciousness.
